James H. Falvey, known as Harry, was a [War II veteran].  He was a son of Lewis Falvey and Mrs. Nettie Secor Falvey.

James H. Falvey

James H. Falvey, owner and operator of the Falvey Hotel in Lake Clear died Saturday evening, May 28th at his home. He was born in Williamstown, New York, September 14, 1914 and in addition to being a member of the American Legion served in World War II with the 3558 Ordinance Medium Auto Maintenance Company.

He was the son of Lewis Falvey and Mrs. Nettie Secor Falvey who survives him. Also surviving are his wife Jeanette Warchol Falvey, three sons; James, Joseph, and John all of Lake Clear and a brother Raymond and sister Mrs. Agnes Dowling of Williamstown, New York. There are also several nieces and nephews surviving. Private services were held yesterday morning at the Fortune Funeral Home. Interment was St. John's in the Wilderness Cemetery at Lake Clear. The family requests that donations be sent to the Cancer Fund.
