Sverre Andreassen was a Norwegian Sailor; he served on the M/S Elizabeth Bakke. He "cured" at Stony Wold Sanatorium.

In February 1943 Sverre Andreassen was named in an article in The Guild News as one of the seamen at Stony Wold who were studying Americanization English with Mrs. Edward Levy. The front-page article was titled "Guild Resumes Stony Wold Classes; Torpedoed Norsemen Study English."
