Dorothy Yepes first came to the Adirondacks for the winter sports scene, and returned often to develop the Dorothy Yepes Gallery Without Walls, Inc. in Bloomingdale, according to a brochure, "Original Art at Saranac Lake Free Library, 1991." Two of her works are in the library, Still Life of a Mask of Beethoven -- Pastel 1955, and Cascade Road --Oil 1960.
