'William John D'Amico' was an American bobsledder who competed in the late 1940s and early 1950s. He won a gold medal in the four-man event at the [Winter Olympics] in [Moritz], and three medals at the [World Championships] with two golds (Four-man: [[1]], [[2]]) and one bronze (Two-man: 1950).

He also ran the [Bear Restaurant] in Ray Brook in 1948.  He was a member of the Saranac Lake Elks Lodge 1508.   He lived in Lake Placid.
