Monsignor V. Noel Zimmerman was a Catholic priest who assumed the pastorship of St. Bernard's parish in 1957 and called on the [of Mercy] for help founding the St. Pius X Catholic High School, which opened in 1959. 

He was president of the JMJ Housing Corporation, sponsor of the DeChantal Apartments.

He is buried in St. Bernard's Cemetery.
