Clara Ann Congdon (1881-1923) was the daughter of Adelaide Louise (nee Tuton) Congdon (1844-1933). Clara had rheumatoid arthritis and spent time in several sanatoria, including one in California. It is unclear whether she also had tuberculosis. In this 1908 postcard to her mother, she signs as “Kit.”
