SARANAC LAKE - Doris Donaldson, 88, formerly of 93 Forest Hill Ave., died Sunday morning, May 11, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Watertown

She was born Dec. 29, 1897, in Dickinson Center, the daughter of Maurice and Nina (Gleason) LaBounty.

Mrs. Donaldson had lived in Saranac Lake for 45 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Saranac Lake and member of the Live Wires and the Home Bureau.

Her husband, Herbert, died in 1978.

Survivors include a son, H. Lansing Donaldson of Watertown; a sister, Pauline Tyler of Tupper Lake; four grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Fortune Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Richard Chatterton, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Dickinson Center.
