Mrs. Ella Lashway, of 41 Charles Street, Saranac Lake, died at 5:30 Saturday evening at Saranac Lake General Hospital where she had been a patient since Nov. 8. Mrs. Lashway, who was 67 years of age, was born Oct. 20, 1895 in Chasm Falls, daughter of Eric and Marie Elderbaum Boyer. Her husband, Arthur, whom she married in Chasm Falls on July 28, 1919, survives her. The Lashways have made their home in Saranac Lake since their marriage.
Other survivors are son, Arthur Jr. and a granddaughter, Sandra, of Saranac Lake; four brothers, Albert Boyer of Chasm Falls, Doris Boyer of Frankfurt; Freeman Boyer of Owl’s Head and Alvis Boyer of Whippleville; and a sister, Mrs. Theresa Batchleder, of Malone.
A Rosary Service will be said this evening at 8 o’clock at the Fortune Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be offered Tuesday at 9 a.m. at St. Bernard’s Church. Interment will be in May in St. Bernards Cemetery.
