French's Used Furniture
Appearance

French's Used Furniture was at 80 Broadway from the late 1940s to the late 1950s. It was the home of Joseph K. and Martha A. French and was variously called French Furniture Store, Something for Every One Shop, French's Good Furniture, Used Furniture & Antiques. Later, the former store was operated as an antique shop by Bea and Mose LaFountain. The Fountains apparently continued to sell used household goods through the late 1970s even as other businesses operated from the original store.
