Dr. Howard Ringler attended Queens College in New York and received his medical degree from the University of Geneva, Switzerland. He practiced internal medicine in Huntington for 34 years. He founded and directed the Department of Nuclear Medicine at Huntington Hospital, where he served on the board of directors and was chief of staff for 16 years.
He was a Veteran, serving in the United States Navy and having command of ships in the Atlantic and the Pacific.
Upon retirement, he moved to Lady Tree Lodge on Upper Saranac Lake.
