Moose Point

Moose Point appears to have been a name for the point directly south of Whitney Point, the south shore of Fish Creek Bay on Upper Saranac Lake .  It was owned by New York stock broker Talbot Taylor, whose plans to build an elaborate camp were dashed when his Manhattan brokerage firm collapsed; he subsequently sold the property to George H. Earle,Jr. who built two camps on the property.
