R. Fulton Cutting was a brother of W. Bayard Cutting; he was a financier. He served as President of the Association for Improving Condition of the Poor and of the New York Trade School, and of the Tropical Land Company, Limited; and as chairman of board of the American Museum of Natural History. R. Fulton Cutting was one of the original incorporators of Dr. E. L. Trudeau's Adirondack Cottage Sanitarium.
