Richard B. Betters

Richard B. Belters, 58, of 33 Algonquin Avenue, Saranac Lake, died at 1:25 a. m. today at Saranac Lake General Hospital. He was owner of the Algonquin Restaurant. Mr. Betters was born Dec. 27, 1904 in Saranac Lake, son of William and Maria Amell Betters.

Survivors are his wife, the former Marie Dupree; a son, Richard, Jr., a teacher at Canisius College in Buffalo; two grandchildren, four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Beals of Saranac Lake, Mrs. Pauline Hammond of St. Lambert's, Que., Mrs. Lillian O’Neil of Springfield, Mass, and Miss Winifred Betters of Saranac Lake; a brother, James of Saranac Lake, several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Madonna Chapel of the Keough and Son Funeral Home from 7 to 10 O'clock this evening and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p. m. A Rosary Service will be said at 8:45 p.m Friday at the chapel and a Funeral Mass win be offered at 9 a. m. Saturday at St. Bernard's Church. Burial will be at St. Bernard's Cemetery.
