Walter Fretz, lived at 21 Morris Way.  He lived to 104 years of age.  A native of Philadelphia, he moved to Saranac Lake after retiring from the trucking business.  He believed that the keys to his long life were abstaining from alcohol and avoiding restaurant food by cooking for himself.
