Wilhelmina England, known as "Willie," came to the North Country to be treated for tuberculosis at the New York State Hospital at Ray Brook. Willie, who now lives at Elderwood of Uihlein in Lake Placid, was profiled in the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, December 26, 2016.
