William Bloodgood Trowbridge had a camp on Spitfire LakeAs a member or members, Wm. B. Trowbridge and his wife, Mabel Trowbridge, were named in the sale of [Club] property to the [Lake Boys' Club], Inc., in 1917.  The July 14, 1940, New York Times reported on a visit he made to his camp on Spitfire Lake with Herbert Mapes of Flushing, L. I.
