Other information: The Lake Side Motel was built by Frank and Elsie Wehs who came to Saranac Lake in 1944.

In 1963 it was owned by Fred Herbert.

Along with two neighboring motel properties, Lake Flower Inn and the Adirondack Motel this is the proposed site of a [ninety room, sixty foot tall hotel] that was proposed in 2013.
