Joseph Ohmann

Joseph Ohmann, 67, of Breezy Acres, Saranac Lake, died early Monday morning at Ray Brook Hospital where had been a patient for ten days.

Mr. Ohmann was born May 9, 1899 in Syracuse, a son of August and Anna Bastian Ohmann and came to Saranac Lake in 1928. He was an auto mechanic.

Mrs. Ohmann, the former Phoebe Betters, survives. Other survivors are three sons, Stanley, Raymond, and William of Saranac Lake; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Rogowski of Utica; four grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Anna Kniskern of Cobbleskill.

Friends may call the Fortune Funeral Home where a Rosary Service will be held this evening at 8 o’clock. The funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bernard’s Church. Interment will follow in St. Bernard’s Cemetery.
