Modernist Architecture
Modernist architecture is a term used to describe a type of structure or building style in which "form follows function." The following is a preliminary list of modernist buildings in the Saranac Lake Central School District. Arthur Wareham was a resident modernist architect in Saranac Lake, the younger partner of William G. Distin, in whose generally traditional structures some modernist influences can also be seen.
